Over the course of several months beginning October 2008 to April 2009 I’ve spent some of my spare time between commercial projects searching Google Maps hoping to discover land formations or buildings resembling letter forms. These are the results of my findings limited within the state of Victoria, Australia.

Love this, a great new perspective on typography, it’d be cool to see this in a practical outworking, be interesting to see how it could be made relevant to an advertising campaign.
An interesting post on the whole. It’s a lovely view from the top, eh? Who knows, if we had the time look harder and further, we might find whole words sprawled across terrains! Now, that would be fun, right?
