Does location, location matter? Poll

Seeing the last poll about genre went well I though I might kick off with another one (this time based on geography) to give you something to click on until everyone is over their holiday hangovers and back in the swing of it in a week or so.

I’ve noticed several request for articles on Australian designers recently and wondered if there was any general consensus about wanting to find out more about the happenings in a general region. Do you want to find out more about Japanese designers or Australian designers? UK photographers or US? (I know I’ve left out many nations from the poll, but this is mainly due to my own knowledge and lack of ability to cover them on a regular basis than anything else.)

Would you like to see topics more centric to location? If so where?

Rinzen / 3deep / Fabio Ongarato / Moon / Three60 / Qube Konstrukt — a feature on any of these studios would be great. Keep up the great work HB.

There is seems to be some really interesting design happening in Australia … I am currently based in the UK and planning a move downunder soon so I am particularly interested in Australian design. There are a lot of other sites that feature UK/US design heavily so your site’s Australian slant appeals to me - keep it up

Aswell as CJ’s flag ups I am also liking Inkahoots / Wishart / Tin & Ed / Frost / Mia & Jem…

Good design is what matters. Who cares where it comes from?

OK, check this book/site: http://www.melbournedesignguide.com
It features lots of great Australian designers and it’s also designed by another amazing Australian studio: http://www.round.com.au
